Day 2 - The meaning behind my blog name

Pura Vida literally means "the pure life," but in Costa Rica, it is the quintessential greeting.  They say hello, goodbye, thank you, and your welcome with it.  To them, the meaning is more like "full of life", "purified life", "this is living!" So after our honeymoon to Costa Rica, I thought the phrase was quite fitting...because I have just started a new life with my husband and as I get older, I want to look back at my time and say, "that was living!"
